The Laser/Microcomputer Auto Net Setting Up System For Aircraft Arresting Equipment

The function of air force is more and more outstanding in the modern war. With the development of high technology, the fighting strength of the airplanes relates to the victory of the whole battle. Based on statistics of international civil aviation organization, about eighty percent of flight accidents all over the world happen in course of flying-off and entering the field of landing.Aircraft arresting system is a safe barrier to ensure aircraft flying-off safely and landing surely. It's mainly used on lash-up arresting of land-based aircraft, besides on lash-up arresting and free flying landing of carrier plane or pilot less aircraft. Aircraft arresting system used on airdrome runway can arrest an aircraft going beyond the end of a runway at normal landing or by accident effectively according to various conditions. It's an assistant equipment of landing control, and with it the reliability of landing can be increased greatly.In this paper, laser-microcomputer auto net setting up system is a part of aircraft arresting system that is used on setting up net automatically. It can measure the velocity of airplane accurately when they go close to the end of runway by laser detection equipment, calculate and compare the velocity by microcomputer, then make estimation timely, fleetly, accurately, send alarm signal, and give control signal, set up arresting net, arrest aircraft, ensure flight safety, avoid probability of ill-effects under the condition of the airplane's velocity doesn't accord with the safe regulation.The dissertation discusses the theory meaning and application worth of the arresting net, introduces the basic sorts and the composition of the now applied arresting equipment, gives out the function and performance of aircraft arresting equipment laser/computer automatic met setting up system.The collectivity design idea and the technology character have been summarized. There are two laser transmitters and two laser receivers in the system, they are placed at the end of the course, the number of the pulses has been measured, the computer system calculates and compares the speed of the aircraft and then justifies the safety status of the aircraft and displays the speed of the aircraft.When the get off speed of the aircraft is more than the initialized max speed, the computer gives the orders, controls the arresting net setting up and sends out warning information.In the hardware design part, the hardware design idea of the check equipment has been analyzed n detail. The construction as well as the applied chips has been introduced.At the end, the software function of the laser/computer automatic net system has been carried out and the module software design idea has been applied.The design and manufacture of the aircraft arresting automatic net system has been finished. The measure precision problem, laser and optic material chosen problem and net max value problem have been solved. The system has the characteristic of high measure precision, correct justification and high speed. The experiment shows that it can achieve the expectant function, work stably and bear important military meaning and economic value.
