Landing is the most dangerous and complex phase for plane, especially for plane landing on the deck. Because of restrictions by the flight deck, there are more stringent requirements for the landing on deck. Now arresting gear is widely used to help the plane stopping in the safe distance. There is lots of interference during the landing of plane, so researches on the plane arresting are particularly important.The equation of plane's motion after landing on deck is set up. The aerodynamic, engine thrust, the deck friction and blocking force of load are also analyzed. According to the principle of arresting system, the physical model of it is established. Through analysis of the movement of plane's tail hook under the action of arresting force, The models of hook's horizontal and vertical movement are established, and the sliding movement of the hook and cable are combined.Based on the models established above, the flight dynamics simulation system and the arresting machine simulation system are set up in the Visual C++ 6.0 environment. The flight dynamics simulation system uses the virtual reality technology to achieve the three-dimensional display and makes the simulation results vivid and visual. Two simulation systems achieve co-simulation, through the network communication.Using the simulation systems, the plane arrested in different weight, speed, centric and yaw are researched. The plane's blocking distance, acceleration, suffered blocking force and the force of the blocking cable are analyzed.
