With the rapid development of transportation, the traffic accidents caused by the driver's wrong behavior such as fatigue driving continue to emerge. A lot of research work has been done in this dissertation with the Intelligent Vehicle Travelling Information Recorder which can ensure the vehicle travelling security effectively.Firstly the systemic scheme based on MCU and DSP is discussed to meet the need of the function of the recorder.Two important subsystems, the distributed intelligent sensor system based on CAN bus and the data storage system based on USB Flash Disk and FRAM, are emphasized in this dissertation. The CAN bus is used to build the distributed intelligent sensor system to implement the data collection. CAN-Device can be mounted adaptively to expand the sensor system. The data storage scheme is designed to make use of the FRAM and USB Flash Disk to store the vehicle real-time data and mass historical data respectively.The strong interface of the MCU is used to mount the real-time clock module, keyboard module, data storage module, GPS module and DR module. CAN bus is used to collect the vehicle data such as pressure, speed, temperature and so on. DSP is used to implement the computing of navigation parameters.The Intelligent Vehicle Travelling Information Recorder is implemented to prove the feasibility and validity of the systemic scheme in this dissertation.
