As the hardcore system to the flight control system of unmanned aerial vehicles, the hardware platform and software platform of flight control computer are the important components, and make the extremely influence to the whole system. The paper is about the hardware design and software design of flight control computer to adapt the development of miniaturization and high-powered, with some finalized flight control computer in the background.Firstly, the ingredient and actuality of the hardware platform and software platform are introduced. The task's elicitation is the disadvantages of FCC's traditional hardware and software design, because of the PC104 bus stack structure and RTKernel real-time kernel. According to the system's performance index and request, the hardware and software design blue print are proposed.Then the structure design of FCC which makes use of PC104 bus and three flashboards is putted. The electric circuit's interface designs in every module are explained, including the designs of analogy signals, digital signals, serial interfaces, cabinet, and electromagnetic compatibility. On the foundation of the flashboard design, the system's first edition is finished. After the testing and improvement, the second edition is completed in project. This hardware platform has maintainability, smaller volume, lighter weight, lower cost, and general purpose in project. The software design is based on the new hardware platform, including the designs of some drivers and transplanting software to FCC. The characteristics and theory ofμC/OS-II real-time kernel are analysed in detail. This software platform is transplantable and extensible.Finally, after the system's testing and real-time simulation experimentation, the data and result are analysed. Also, the feasibility of hardware and software design blue print and the correctness of material design are validated. All designs of the system are realized rightly in project.
