The stepping motor can not be separated from its drive.The operation characteristic of the system is mainly decided by its drive circuit except the property of the motor.Thus,the study of drive technology is the same important as the study of the motor itself.In recent twenty years,the development of the power electric technology ,microelectric technology and microprocessor has greatly promoted the stepping motor drive technology at very fast speed.Two-phase and five-phase hybrid stepping motor,as one of the main products of stepping motor,have been applied widely in many fields.With the development of drive technology,three-phase hybrid stepping motor often takes on the excellent characteristic of the two-phase and five-phase hybrid stepping motor,Such as resolving power of the two.Three-phase hybrid stepping motor may be applied in some fields which is occupied by two-phase and five-phase .Three-phase hybrid stepping motor maybe hold market by oneself and may be the main products of stepping motor in one day.In recent years,research on three-phase hybrid stepping motor and its drive technology are always regarded.What this paper finished mainly works as follows:Three-phase hybrid stepping motor drive system with fixed-chopping frequency and microstep drive is fully described.Mathematical model of the system,including the current control circuit,power driving circuit and three-phase hybrid stepping motor is established.Subsystem by MATLAB/Simulink based on microstep driving system is built,such as stepping motor,current control and power circuit and so on.Based on the PWM technology with fixed-chopping frequency and the style of tracing sine current , the microstep drive for three-phase hybrid stepping motor has been studied and manufactured by PIC16F873 of the Microchip Co.The control software is finished by assembly language.The digital simulation system and hardware are tested.
