The stepping motor is a very popular digital executor at today. Studying theory about stepping motor is important The traditional method is to build mathematic model of the stepping motor at first, and don't care of influence of driver, neither types nor functions. It leads result have great difference compare with fact.The paper discusses many different methods of research stepping motor. The teeth layer rate permeance theory is close to the fact and the error is on the small side. Then we analyse the theory about Buck drive circuit. Comparing of different drivers, we choosing dsp as controller and giving the scheme and explanation about hardware and software.The content of this paper are stated the follows:Chapter 1 is about introduction. It introduces the information of stepping motor development and main content of our research.Chapter 2 is discusses the development of research theories about stepping motor and reluctance motor. We analyse the equivalent magnetic circuit analysis model.Chapter 3 is show the many kinds of driver circuit of used in stepping motor. And particular research is about Buck RPRV circuit used in out system.Chapter 4 introduces the detail about hardware and software design about syetem. Chapter 5 is to build the state unification equation according to the theory of chapter 2 .It verifies the correntness of the model .control circuit and algorithm by comparison the experiment with the simulation results.
