Our country's 6-35kV distribution network is very easy got damaged by lightning,though the overall situation have got better after the improvement project of power grid in urban and rural areas,the situation of overhead insulating conductor, overhead line and distribution transformers in distribution network damaged by lightning is not get better at all in some lightning activity-prone areas.Lightning accidents is still harmful to the safe,reliable and stable operation of distribution network.China had tried to/tse overhead insulating conductor since the beginning of the 1980s,and have been actively promoted.It can reduce the numbers of lightning accidents afterμsing of the overhead insulating conductor,but the accident of overhead insulating conductor broken by lightning stroke still happens from time to time.In this paper,a brief analysis of the mechanism of overhead insulating conductor broken by lightning was introduced,and some detail information about the structure and principle of some anti-lightning broken device,such as over-voltage protector,arc-protection hardware and FLC-B lightning-protection hardware.And some electrical tests and analysis were done to these devices,after multi-comparison of those devices' performance,some specific measures are proposed against lightning broken.This paper also analysis the lightning prevention of 10-35kV overhead line, distribution transformers,low-voltage overhead line for hoμseholds,and some corresponding measures were proposed.The anti-lightning effect of lightning rod and lightning wire are also analyzed in this article,and the corresponding application occasions are proposed;the lightning protection effects of coupling ground wire installing on different locations are also simulated and analyzed,and the best location of the coupling ground wire installing on different tower style in order to get the best lightning protection effects are presented.In the end,take a 10kV substation as an example,μsing the EMTP software to simulate and analyse the lightning induced voltage and lightning over-voltage under the circuit breaker of the entrance line in the substation on and close-off these two situations,and proposed the specific measures of lightning protection for substations in distribution network.
