6-DOF parallel platform is widely used in aviation, aerospace, maritime, automotive, and other fields. And it has become the essential tools and means of flight simulation training, simulated training ship navigation and driving simulation training etc. The theoretical modeling, design and size parameters and simulation research has been put forward for the development of carrier-based anti-submarine helicopter flight simulator of special Navy aircraft simulation laboratory.Base on the general requirements of flight simulator, Stewart parallel platform is selected as its configuration, and combining homogeneous coordinate transformation, the flight simulator kinematics analysis, including kinematics, inverse kinematics, Jacobian matrix, effect coefficient and velocity, acceleration mapping analysis, has been finished with Matlab.The workspace of the flight simulator is built, and the result shows that the parameters can fulfill the target. At the same time, the static force model is used to get the maximal load of each pole, so the load of the motor is confirmed. The method is suitable of other 6-DOF parallel robot and is useful on the design.The modeling and simulation of the flight simulator (Stewart parallel campaign platform) is proposed by SimMechanics, and the correctness of the design is proved by the simulation.The modal analysis of the platform of the parallel is carried out by Ansys. Simulation results show that parallel platform meet the dynamic stiffness of the system design requirements, and to further improve the design.The research work of this dissertation will provide theoretical and practical experiences for the parameters design of parallel robot of flight simulator, the SimMechanics simulation, and the Ansys simulation. And will be helpful in the field.
