This thesis elaborates the design scheme of key parts of Flight Motion Simulator, including the supporting structure of optical components and electrical motors as well as the motion machineries. The bottlenecks in the structural design of this Simulator are the stringent requirement of the weight, size and stability under intensive load. This thesis also introduces a new AutoCAD based method to reduce the calculating time and improve the calculating accuracy.During the operational process, the Flight Motion Simulator is required to endure high acceleration load, high random power spectrum vibrations and high infrared light radiation. To ensure the mechanical structure stability of this simulator, this thesis uses ANSYS– software of finite-element analysis– to analyze deformation and stress distribution on the mechanical structure of key parts of Flight Motion Simulator under 25G acceleration load in X, Y, Z directions respectively, then analyze the deformation and resonance situation of the baseboard of Flight Motion Simulator under random vibrations in Z direction. Finally, this thesis completes the thermal-structure multi-physical field analysis to the stop slices and studies the temperature distribution and expansion deformation of field stop slices under the infrared thermal radiation from light source.In addition, this thesis deduces the functional relation between the displacement of every node from the analysis results of ANSYS and the amount of decentration and tilt of optical components, and using this relation to analyze the effect of the deformation of mechanical structure under acceleration load and random vibrations on image quality of optical system imaging by CODE V– software of optical design. Through comparing the effect of different components and load forms on the image quality of optical system imaging, this thesis analyzes the advantage and disadvantage of Flight Motion Simulator.
