Study On The Safe Transportation Management Of Road Hazmat

Hazmat themselves have a certain danger, when transported will create new potential hazards. In case of accidents, it will cause enormous human casualties and economic losses. Hazmat road transportation is a high professional work with highly safety conditions requirement, once the accident happens, the harm it caused is far greater than ordinary traffic accident. The great significance is to protect public safety, safeguard the market order to meet the transport needs, improve environmental quality and maintain social stability.Based on the analyzing of the present condition of dangerous goods road transportation in both domestic and abroad, this paper makes a statistic analysis on domestic hazmat road transportation, sums up the causes and the consequences of the hazmat road transportation accidents. According to the principle of scientific, comprehensive and concise, the hazmat road transportation enterprise safety assessment system is built. It is mainly composed of 2 one-level index, 11 two -level index, 44 three-level index. Three optimization objective such as transport costs, transport time and transport risks is pointed, and then the hazmat road transportation route selection optimizing model is established. Based on the previous research, the information management system for hazmat road transportation is developed. The system designs five modules which include the hazmat information, corporate security management, transportation of hazmat, the management of basic information, system maintenance. The functions of system involved hazmat information, security management, security training, planning of transportation routes, basic information about vehicles, personnel information, data backup, data recovery etc.
