The battery is not only the core component of the electric vehicle,but also is the key factor which affects the performances of the entire vehicle.The performances of the battery will influence the power characteristics and the driving range of the vehicle directly. In order to roundly research,analyze and value the performance of the various power batteries for electric vehi`cles, and on the basis of studying on the performances of the batteries,charge principle and the theoretics of control strategy, we developed a set of experiment platform of the power batteries of the electric vehicles. The platform takes the Industrial Control Computer as core and the data collecting system as interface. In addition, various modules consists of the main structure of the platform, while software and the hardware are intergrated in the devices.The dissertation discussed sufficiently the battery basic principle and analyze adequately the advantage and disadvantage of the common battery performance test method. On the base of it, the dissertation put forward the following method directed towards the test performance of battery: On the aspect of the capacity of battery, considering that the effects of the electricity strength and the circulation times on SOC, the dissertation put forword'instantanous constant large current discharge-laden voltage test method'. On the aspect of the inner resistance of battery, in order to enhance anti-jamming capability and increase measure precision, the dissertation apply'instantanous constant current discharge test method'.In the design of the experiment platform, we use pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to control the high-power IGBT turning on and off to realize constant current discharge. We use high accuracy modules of voltage and current to collect voltage and discharging current so that the experiment platform can test the capability and inner resistance of battery and realize the function of charging of power battery.After adjusted and tested, the experiment platform accorded with the requirement of the design and realized the functions of testing performances,intelligent charging and discharging of various batteries for the electric vehicle.A lot of experiments proved that ,by analyzing the experiment platform report of testing baterry performances,the direction of the technology inprovement and research of batteries can be shown, the science foundation of correct use and maintenance of battery can be given.it is significant to predict and improve the driving range of the Electric vehicle.
