Urban green space is an important part for the city,and an important component of urban ecosystem. Green space can improve the urban environment and urban population's life quality. It can influence city ecology environment,beautifying urban landscape and supply easeful places for citizens to relax. With the development of urbanization,urban green space has different function with different structure. Remote sensing is major technique of urban green space investigation, It's advantages including large coverage,quickly and efficiently. High resolution remote sensing data is used to research urban green landscape,the detail of urban green space was show in high resolution remote sensing data.With the theory and research method of landscape ecology, and the support of GIS and RS. We do a quantitative analysis on the status of landscape pattern in the major district of Foshan. The full text is divided into five parts, the first part of the Introduction, this article introduces the research background, as well as urban green space landscape pattern study the basic theory and the basic status quo; the second part is research methods and technical routes.; The third study area is divided into Overview, Introduction Physical Geography of the study area profiles and the social and economic development; The fourth introduces the urban green space be divided into information extraction and classification, mainly for remote sensing image processing and classification of urban green space, the fourth study area is divided into urban green space landscape pattern analysis The main study area of green space landscape pattern analysis of selected landscape indices, as well as problems and put forward proposals of their own.
