As the development of urbanization, there arising some problems of water in urban areas. On the one hand, the current water resources can not meet the requirement of the city development, and on the other hand, because of the changing underlying surface, city areas are easily become seepy in the flood season, and this problem has the big influence on urban development. According to the research, the effective use of rainwater can be one of the best ways to solve these problems. So this article takes Olympic Park in Beijing as the research objective, aims to the following aspects about the utilization of rainwater.(1) Under the condition of shortage of water in urban areas, this article research on the potentials rainwater utilization in different rainfall level, with the use of two utilization establishments, that is, storage ponds and sunken lawn. According to the research, storage ponds show a more dramatic effect on rainwater utilization.(2) Aims at different situations of flood control, this article research on the influence of flood by use of the above establishments. Including, flood peak,the appearing time of flood peak, the seeper on the targeted place and the seeper area where the depth exceeds the target depth. The outcome shows that the establishments of rainwater utilization can dramatically decrease the influence of flood peak and surface seeper.(3) Aims at the predict problems on urban flood, this article based on the big amount of data from hydrology model, researching the predict problems with the method of ANN. By use of inputting the max rainfall value, relevant time, total rainfall value and soil moisture rate, this system can directly predict the flood peak, peak time, the max depth of targeted place and the area where exceed the target depth. The result shows that the ANN system can supply the most exact data, so it can be a creditable reference for flood control strategies.
