| With the vigorous development of China's higher education, the University promoted the building of the campuses through increasing enrollment with a new, unprecedented speed, in the past decade. As high-speed economic development in the market today, the business penetrated in a new way in every corner of the campus. The life of students have taken place in the way of "revolutionary" changes, namely: the pattern is no longer abide by the simple lines of three points (dormitories, classrooms, canteens) .they want more opportunities and space for social contact, and seek knowledge beyond the textbooks (including life, recreation, practice, communication, etc.), so "Students Street" came into being in this context.Unfortunately, this widely-existent "student street" is far from being attention in academic research, and it can be said it is a "wide practice", "no theory" subject. A considerable part of the campus planning had not taken the "student street" into practice under new historical conditions, The demand for places outside of classroom of students is far from being fully taken into account. It is said arbitrarily that the planning and design concept of the contemporary Chinese University is lagging behind the reality seriously.In this paper, the famous "degenerate Street" (a spontaneous Street connected Hunan University and Hunan Normal University) and Lu Shan South Commercial Street (from the canteens of Jianshe village to YuWan market) at the foot of the Yue Lu Mountain has been investigated in-depth.(1) In the way of observation, questionnaires and interviews in the entire process, answered to the basic problem of the "Student Street", namely: whether it is necessary to exist? What is the biggest "charm" of it? What is it lack of ? Where is the trouble? And surveyed the consumer sentiment and behavior of the college students.(2) Analysed the psychological of business and consumer and proposed: the characteristics of miscellaneous consumer psychological is the closer the better and the more the better.(3) The characteristics of the image and space are summed up: the image of the "disorder" on the path was beautiful and " of a communication network ".And summed up the causes of"students Street" charm at last.(4) Through analysing on aspects of the location, space layout, and the comprising of a business, summed up the four character traits of "student street": flexibility, spontaneity, randomness, continuity, and described the the value and significance of its existence.Finally, learning from the development of commercial street in neighboring colleges and universities at home and abroad and on the analysis of the two streets above, obtained the the following points about the protection of "spontaneous student street": (1) to update the streets organically (2) to improve the district's health Environment and increased public facilities, (3) to implement public participation, joint management of students Street.The " planning students street": (1) according to the distribution of passenger routes, choose the students easily accessible place to plan, (2) create diverse choice ways of the path of Students Street, (3) maintain the streets appropriate length and width; (4) take "Student Street planning" into the campus planning ,and both of them were built together . |
