Design And Research Of Additing Stories For Hangzhou Tangxi Building

Extending in the existing building is economical and fast, which is consistent with the basic policy of land for conservation as well as effective. In recent years, with the continuous development of society, many original built-up area of the building can not meet the new demands. Adding stories is becoming one of the important ways of urban housing projects these years.High building conversion & renovation are highly technical work, which must begin with the identification of buildings, providing a scientific basis of the strengthening and adding stories. We should take the original building's potential bearing capacity into consideration and choose the right form of the structure, making the project not only economical and rational but also secure and dependable.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the current calculation methods to the adding stories, this paper discuss and summarize the problems of an concrete structure high building in the process of adding and renovation design: (a) based on the combining China's existed engineering practice and related research results of seismic design, adjusted to the existing norms and theory, combined with structural design software, the first step is to analyzes the researching work of adding stories in high-rise structure more systematically.(b) Analyzing the structure of the adding stories drawings for the concrete structure high-rise building and according to the transformation requirements of Part A, the second step is to give the approach to the new design drawings while discussing how to deal with the foundation, columns, beams, walls and the parts where binding edge of component is lack of treatment of the structure in detail. (c)Finally, the last step is to discuss some key parts of the design in the the actual process of transformation and engineering difficulties such as the strengthening part.By summing up the results above all, now comes the ideas, practical steps and design methods to deal with such works. while looking to the performance-based theory to design and analyze in the future, this paper will provide a certain value for reference to such extending transformation of the high building.
