With the development of the national economy and people's living standards, energy needs and usage is growing. However, energy production, transmission, distribution and use, as the long run, the line insulation aging, as well as improper electricity, and other reasons, making the potential of fire and electrical rate increase, and serious electrical fires occur frequently. According to the relative data, in recent years, the low-voltage circuit fire was very serious and caused tremendous life damage and property losses in our country. In the light of severe electrical fire situation, investigate the cause of the fire, in time to take effective measures to prevent a similar fire incident from happening again.play a positive role in promoting. However now some of the various methods of identification have its limitations , affecting the accuracy of identification of electrical fire. In order to further improve our ability to identify the electrical fire, technical capability, it is necessary to carry out electrical fire at a deeper level of identification technology as soon as possible.Firstly, this paper introduces a typical low-voltage distribution system, and studied the various components, including the protection of a variety of devices, electrical equipment and so on. By way of the 5 characteristics of the distribution and application analysis, to get the most commonly used in modern architecture is more secure means of distribution TN-C-S. Furthermore, study a variety of typical electrical fault, which can cause fire. Analysis of the basic principles of reason on a variety of short-circuit, grounding, overload, the bad contact and the leakage fault and so on, as well as caused by a series of consequences, and made a precautionary measure.By analyzing the typical construction of low-voltage distribution lines, we were able to establish its schematic. A simulated model of low-voltage distribution system is established in this paper, sets line parameters and semolina package of Matlab, analyzes a variety of short-circuit fault and the bad contact fault and so on, these process are simulated by Matlab, and presents the simulation results and the waveform, and summed up the characteristics of the various failure modes. Finally, a feasible approach to making mathematical model to determine the possible location of the fault and the cause of the fire are proposed based on analyzing the phenomenon of the lines and equipment after the occurrence of the fire and on the use of artificial neural network. The result of exercises and tests shows this algorithm has many virtues such as high accuracy and fast constringency, and can provide reference for the electrical fire investigation and identification technologies.
