| The aim of this task is to establish a flexible testing platform to supervise and test the motor and its control&drive system as well as to match required system parameters to optimize the control method. The test bench for evaluating motor drive performance is different from traditional motor test bench. The characters of motor drive system have to be considered as well as drive conditions of EV. Accordingly, power and torque measurement tools in the hardware design must satisfy requirements of not only steady performance tests but also dynamic performance tests.Firstly, this paper introduces the history of electric vehicle and up to date development. It then introduces the significance of the test bench. Finally it describes the background of the project.Then based on modularized design method, this paper discusses the testing platform design as a whole, including the structure of the platform, the function analysis and module division of the platform and the type-choice of the dynamometer and energy storing device, etc.Finally, the hardware and software design is introduced regarding the design for CAN bus, signal acquisition and program flowchart, etc. |
