With the development of Micro-electronics and Computer technique, the application of Computer Aided Test(CAT) in monitoring hydraulic system condition and detecting hydraulic component's performance became more and more widely.Compare to the traditional mamual test, the CAT technique has follow's advantages: high precision, high efficiency,high cost performance and be suitable for the hydraulic system online automatic monitor. Refering to correlation country experiment standard, this paper designs and exploits a test system based on virtual instrument to be used to test variable displacement piston pump's performance. This system consists of hydraulic test system and control system. Hydraulic system is used to provide the operating mode and load method that the variable displacement pump test need. And the control system which is composed of IPC (I Computer) , PLC, the sensor as well as the correlation software, complete the examination of the tested pump and the automatic control of the testing system.This paper, in the foundation of analyzing correlation technical paper, proposed the general technical scheme and structure of two big composition system of variable piston pump test system.This paper mainly contents includes the following;In chapter 1, an overall summary of hydraulic testing technology and virtual instruments are given. Explicate the research background, significance and contents of the project.In chapter 2, design general technical concept of the variable displacement piston pump performance test system.In chapter 3, according to the correlation experiment standard, design and analyze the loading equipment and hydraulic loop. Select the drag device and main control valve. Calculate and analyze the main pipeline of the system.In chapter 4, simulate the loading system. Clear the impact of the pipeline capacity cavity size and the displacement for the rate of the pressure soaring.In chapter 5, in the foundation of the general control scheme, introduce the control method which used IPC and PLC at the same time. And design the structures of the hardware and software of the IPC system and PLC system. Then design the effective anti-jamming measure. These works overcomes the good base for the signal examimation and processing of the variable displacement piston pump performance test system.In chapter 6, validate the test bench's integrality and reliability by the typical experimentations, such as displacement test, efficiency test and so on.In chapter 7, summarize and review the process of the project, then give the possible research orientation in future.
