A Study On The Exterior Environment Of High-rise Residences In Wuhan

With the continuous increase in urban population and the growing scarcity of land resources in our country, the high-rise housing became the efficient method to fulfill the resident's need. High-rise residences have mushroomed in many cities. Meanwhile, people did not pay much attention to the design of the exterior environment of the high-rise residences. So it caused a series of problems, not only damaged the landscape of the city but also had a harmful effect on the quality of the dwelling environment. The same problems also exist in the high-rise residences of wuhan. As China's rapid economic development and the improvement of people's living standards, residents pay more attention to the exterior environment of the high-rise residences and their demands getting more and more increased. Therefore the article is established in the high-rise residences of wuhan, and probes into the status quo of exterior environment, to provide several reasonable suggestions for the design of the exterior environment of the high-rise residences.The thesis contains four main contents. Firstly, the article summarizes the development of the exterior environment of the high-rise residences in wuhan; Secondly, on the basis of the investigation of many high-rise residences in wuhan, the article analyses the current situation and other related issues of the exterior environment of the high-rise residences in wuhan; and then, the paper reflects on the actuality and discuss the design of the perfect exterior environment of the high-rise residences, from the relation between the exterior environment and urban at the macro-level, and the relation between the exterior environment and resident at the micro-level. Finally, the design principles are summarized, and correct concept and method is put forward in this paper. It hopes to be helpful to the design and research in the future.
