Development Of The Ship Maintenance System Based On 3D Model

With the development of the economy and enhancement of globalization trend in the world,the action of international shipping to development of international economy and international trade is greater and graeter. The shipping enterprise has already become the basic industry of promoting economic integration of the world and international trade of globalization. Under the circumstances that the challgenge for existence and opportunity for development coexist,it is indispensable to improve level of ship maintenance management in order to improve competitiveness of the shipping enterprise.At present,most ship parts management of shipping companies are based on the 2D ships drawing,its deficiency exposes gradually,and mainly displays in following two aspects;firstly, the 2D drawing is not direct-viewing,and it is quite difficult to manage ship parts;secondly,the thickness measurement report completes manually,it's unable to produce the report fast.Furthermore,the comparison,the statistics and the analysis of thickness measurement data is unable to realize.In order to solve the above problems,this thesis has investigated and analyzed the present situation of ship parts management in the shipping company, according to shipping company actual situation,use CATIA V5 as 3D software,VB as programming language,ACCESS as the database,adopting the CATIA V5 Automation secondary development of technology, developed 3D ship parts for maintenance system.This paper studies the designing method of "3D ship parts for maintenance system",and analyzed main module and function of the system. The system includes the following modules: user management,querying and maintaining,thickness measurement report,help module. The research puts forward the ship parts management an effective solution,This system can provide the parts querying,the parts tagging,the calculation of thickness measurement report and the thickness measurement querying services. Merging the ship parts information into one management system,it provides enormously convenient for user querying ships parts informations.This system has realized the 3D ship parts management for shipping company. It is highly practicable and has certain innovativeness.
