| With the rapid development of infrastructure construction in our Country, the Shield Method as a safe tunnel construction tool with high efficiency has been widely applied in tunnel engineering, such as urban subway and underground pipelines etc. With the superiority of technology and economy, EPB shield machine has been in the overwhelming dominance and become the mainstream in construction technology of urban underground engineering field.The shield mechanical boring machine is one kind of tunnel tunneling special-purpose project machinery, the cutter head is one of key components of the shield machine, also the shield prime task parts, It's functions is to cut ground, stabilize the working face and mix the excavated materials. The structural style of the shield cutter head has the close relationship with the engineering geology situation, that is, the different stratum uses the different cutter head structure. The appropriate cutter head type is the shield smooth construction key aspect.The main research content of the present paper includes following aspects:1. A detailed investigation is carried out for international and domestic the shield technology and the course of development and research in this paper. This paper also elaborates on the origin and meaning of the subject. Finally, the subject of research as well as the research contents is pointed out.2. The stress boundary conditions are provided for the nose of cutter head in finite element analysis. Overall thrust of the mechanical boring machine and the driving moments of cutter head are calculated under several kinds of different operating mode.3. Three dimensional geometry models and the finite element analysis model of the earth-pressure type shield cutter head are established. The stresses and distributions of distortion of the cutter head are analyzed for the tunneling process.4. The factor of strength assurance and transmutation of the cutter head are evaluated based on the finite element analysis results. The results show that the shield cutter has the high security and reliability.5. Further the structure optimization to the key component - shield cutter head is carried out, and the satisfying results are obtained.The present paper provides the analysis support for the design of the main engine of the EPB shield mechanical boring machine based on the FEM. And some optimal design suggestions are given to the essential part of the shield machine. It may further speed up the research and development process of the mechanical boring machine manufactured domestically. |
