With the development of electric and controlling technology, the alternating-current (AC) frequency-conversion timing has prevailed in the field of industrial electric engines dragging. As a new controlling device instead of relays, Programmable logic controller (PLC) is usually applied to store data and control devices because its simplicity, reliability, flexibility and strong functions. Configuration software technology is a software floor tool, whose function can be configured as demand to control long-distance devices intelligently.In this paper, we take beton mill as an example, and construct a system to process the frequency-conversion timing of electric engine, using the technology of PLC, transducer and configuration. This paper can be summarized as follows.1). Briefly introduce the transducer's structure, the principle and merits of frequency-conversion timing, and MITSUBISHI FR—A540.2). Introduce the features of configuration software, the data process in I/O system, and native configuration software, "Zutaiwang".3). Analyze the work process of PLC, and introduce MITSUBISHI FX-2N PLC.4). Study the structure of frequency conversion timing system, control project, signal process, devise the hardware circuits and the programs about trapezia chart and touching screen.By designing this system, students can not only realize the principles of frequency conversion timing control, but master using PLC. It benefits students in future study and work.
