Among elevator drive system, VVVF exceeds over other drive systems not only in structure but also in performance. Since VVVF elevator is the leading elevator in the world, research and development of VVVF elevator electric control technology is important in the development of the lift industry. Real time detection of car position in shaft is key to accurate elevator control. To aim at above two points, the project of tudy on Accurate Detection of Car Position in Shaft and VVVF Drive System was proposed in this paper. According to the research result, an interface board connecting OTIS LCB2 board and YASKAWA VS-6 1 6G5 transducer has been developed. Through experiments, comfortable and efficient elevator was achieved. The main ideas in every chapter is following: In the first chapter, the significance of the research is expounded and the literature about the research topic of the thesis is summarized. After these, aim and content of the research is brought forward. Finally, the main innovations of the thesis are narrated. In the second chapter, the principle and technique of frequency conversion timing and the structure of transducer are narrated. Then the paper detailedly described the characteristics of YASKAWA VS-6 1 6G5 transducer, which is used in this project. In the third chapter, structure and characteristics of some common shaft copying equipment are introduced. Then this paper illuminated the principle, thought and implement of accurate car position detection that is studied in this project. In the forth chapter, equation of ideal speed curve is brought forward, and elevator speed control and direct arrival control are studied. Then this paper adopts two different methods of speed and leveling control, one is time principle direct arrival through multi-speed instruction, another is distance principle direct arrival through series communication speed instruction. In the fifth chapter, mathematical model of elevator is set up, and double closed loop PID control is studied. In the sixth chapter, the design of interface board is introduced on hardware and software aspects, and circuit diagram and program chat of functional module are presented. Through experiment, control parameter is fixed and experimental curve obtained.In the seventh chaPter, summary and prospect of the research are broughtforward.
