Mobile X-ray detector companies will face unpredictable,rapidly changed and growing pressure from global market at present. The growing pressure requires a rapid change of product varieties in order to meet the changes market demands. Recent survey has showed that, the development trend of NDT is diversified and rapid reconfigurable nondestructive testing equipment's design. So, a series of research on reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector's design are given in this paper:Base on extensive market survey, the reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector product family is planned by using basic mathematical theory-the matrix. The planning of Reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector product family base on the matrix is presented. Reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector is decomposed to functional units by functional analysis methodologies, and function units map the mechanical modules, and module division is finished.In the process of reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector's design, firstly, base on point module division, finished the mechanical modules'design; Secondly, save modules into Modular Design Library; Finally, select and combine a series of modules in the Modular Design Library base on to reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector's functional structural graph, and get reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector's model.In order to realize modular selection and rapid response user needs, presented and designed Reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector 3D parameterized mechanical module design library. First,Developed the parts of reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector mechanical modules parameterized procedures base on UG/Open GRIP; Second, developed mechanical module design library's menu interface base on UG/Open MenuScript; Finally, developed callback functions and dialogs to realize choice of mechanical module and call of GRIP procedures base on C++ and User Functions, realize rapid,intuitive and user-oriented design by user requirements,developed reconfigurable mobile X-ray detector 3D parameterized mechanical module design library.
