Research On The Key Technology Of Product Modular Design

Modular design is a very old dream,but the realization of modular design must have three basic conditions: reusable product common module;A module library for orderly management of common modules;Assemble common modules into product design tools or platforms.Since the last century,the idea of modular design has been extensively studied in the engineering field,but the idea of modular design has not been well applied in the design because of the lack of the three basic conditions for the realization of modular design.With the maturity of 3D CAD and PDM technology,3d CAD can be used to build reusable modules,PDM management module storage,query and call,and 3D CAD can be used to assemble common modules into products.Therefore,at present,the "enabling" technology for modular design has been available.It is of great commercial and social value to explore the modular design mode based on 3D CAD and PDM.Reading in the process of writing this thesis,a large amount of product research and development and the literature of modular design,and analysis of product life cycle are summarized and corresponding to each stage of product development strategy,to study the components of digital product development platform and operation pattern,at the same time,indepth study,many manufacturing enterprises involved in the companies of standardization,standardization and modularization design projects.The main research contents of this paper include:Research on product history data mining and product platform planning strategy: research on the method of statistics and analysis of product data accumulated by enterprises over the years.Firstly,the scientific nature of data sampling is studied to ensure that the data analyzed can reflect the structural and combination characteristics of products.Then,establish a set of scientific analysis methods to analyze the product ABC,study the relationship between components,determine the module division strategy,and plan the product platform of the enterprise.Library structure of product platform planning and building strategy study: according to the specific product platform module partition scheme,for planning a product library structure,the characteristics of components abstract analysis,determine the interface between the module and design intent,analysis module,main parameters and the critical dimensions for series parts size optimization.The modeling process and modeling skills based on 3D CAD product platform are studied.The modeling,testing,warehousing and modification process and permission setting of design library are studied.The modular design pattern based on design library is studied: the "top-down" module assembly design method based on layout sketch is discussed,and the file management strategy based on 3D CAD and PDM environment is studied.Develop a set of systematic theories and develop standard operating procedures that can be popularized and applied.
