Design Of Radio Altimeter Detector Based On C8051F005

As one kind of common equipment for measuring altitude in aviation area, altimeter offers the real-time altitude from the flight vehicle to the sea level or ground level, so the reliability of the radio altimeter is so important for a safe flight. And it is so necessary to check the altimeter before a flight.In this paper, The designing and implementing of radio altimeter detector based on the high-speed SoC(System-on-Chip) singlechip C8051F005 are described.Firstly, this paper introduces the working principles of radio altimeter and how to detect it. Then the scheme of radio altimeter detector was designed according the design requirements and quality indexes. Based on this scheme the working principles and implementing of the detector are elaborated in detail.The implementing of this detector includes tow parts: hardware and software.The part of hardware describes the design of the faceplate, the mainboard and the high frequency circuit. In the mainboard, the author uses the high-speed SoC singlechip C8051F005 to simplify the circuits and advance the performance of the detector. In addition, two FLASH chips are included in mainboard for data storage, users can transmit the data stored in the FLASH chips to computers by serial communications.The part of software introduces singlechip programming and software algorithms implementing, describes programming methods, designing procedures and software filter methods. And also the development of control center software based on serial communications is elaborated in the software description.In addition, this paper introduces the process of debugging the radio altimeter detector, the methods to resolve the problems, the data analysis and the anti- interference measures.Eventually, the radio altimeter detector based on C8051F005, which fills all the designing requirements of the detector, is completed. It can detect several kinds of radio altimeter with good performance and practicability.
