Along with the long-term stable development of the economy and the continuous improvement of the living standard in our country, the heating supply surface and scope enlarge rapidly, so the energy consumption for heating makes a sharp increase accordingly, but considerable networks are operated with a low efficiency and huge energy are wasted. So it is really necessary important and urgent to do the study aiming at economic operation of the heating system, especially common large-scale indirect-connection heating system. It is also the demand of the phase III of the architectural energy consumption control of China, i.e cutting down the consumption by 65% compared with that of 1998.By following a Harbin heating supply company in last two heating periods, based on the existing condition of the network, with scientific methods and the initiative of human beings, the actual situation of the network is analyzed and a mass of data is collected in this paper, and its system operation efficiency isimproved and the heating supply cost is cut down.From the research and actual measure, abundant of experience and cherish data is collected, which is easy to understand and popularize. The unreasonable issues found in the study are listed, and the settlements and standard operation data are supplied to the company. The methods used in this study and the conclusions got from this research can be used for the management and operation of the heating system in the heating supply companies, which also can be used for government bureau as reference.
