The Research Of Vehicle Travelling Data Recorder Based On GPS

With the increasing of automobile volume,traffic jam and accidents frequently occur. This is not only enormously inconvenient to people's journey,but also involves various questions such as energy wasting,environmental pollution,people's life security and so on. How to strengthen the management of vehicles,standardize drivers' driving behaviour,reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents andcreate a harmonious and safe traffic environment has become an important problem. In such cases,this paper designs a vehicle traveling data recorder which canrealize the vehicles positioning.The vehicle traveling data recorder based on GPS is a digital electronic recording equipment,which can record and store the speed,time and other information that is relevant to automobile traveling status,and also can realize the outputs via the interface. It can record the parameters on driving and the operation behavior of drivers which can be fed back to the drivers and the administrators.The use of the vehicle traveling date recorder can prove the security of driving so as to prevent the deregulation behavior such as fatigue driving,over speed and so on. It also has very important function at the analysis the traffic accidents.The developing background and the present state of the vehicle traveling data recorder are introduced in this paper. It explains the performance parameters and the composing of the whole system of the recorder based on GPS. And then,the paper elaborates the hardware and the software design. The system includes date collection,date memory,date display,communications with PC and GPS part. The whole system is divided into several modules. In this case,it can be avail to the exploitation and maintenance of the system. In the end,this paper introduces hardware and software anti-jamming design of the vehicle traveling date recorder.
