| Angle measurement plays an important role in the geometric measurement. With the development of the industry system, the existing angle instruments can't meet the requirements in some kind of applications, because of its limitations in measurement range, accuracy, the power consumption and volume.The subject aimed at the wide-angle measurement problems in the field of machine tool, airplane, and shipping manufactures and in rail and military navigation systems, in which the angle measurement method and apparatus was analyzed in detail and a new digital angle measuring system based on MEMS sensor technology was designed which can be used in±15°(or±30°) wide-angle measurement.The main research works are listed as follows:1. Analyzed the development actuality of measurement instruments and the development direction of digital, intelligent, integration of measurement instruments at home and abroad.2. The basic principle of the obliquity sensor SCA103T was introduced. Present both good points and bad points of the SCA103T as a sense organ .analyzed and choose the technique parameter and make sure the measurement precision of the angle measuring system.3. The hardware circuit which includes angle sensor measuring system and master circuit system were expatiated.4. The main task and main ideal of software system which includes two parts of MCU and computer were introduced in the article.5. The relationship between the output of the angle measuring sensor and the measured angle was non-linearity, so a curve fitting method was researched. This method improved the linearity of the measuring system. Linearity experiments were carried out and the experimental results were analyzed.
