Nowadays, as the durabilityproblem of lots of RC bridges is becomingmore andmore serious, the research on the methods of durability assessment has arousesufficient attention of all circles. Based on the research achievement of durabilityassessment in and abroad, this paper will set up two models. One is a three-gradefuzzy comprehensive assessment model which is based on analytical hierarchyprocess(AHP)andtheotherisaforecastmodeltoforecasttheremaininglifewhichisbasedongreydynamicsystemtheory.Themaincontentsareasfollows:1.This paper will expound the definition and content of durabilityassessment forbridgestructureandsummarizethemethodsofdurabilityassessmentatpresent;2. This paper will divide the assessment factors to five grades and adopt thetrapeziform or semi-trapeziform subordinate function to ascertain the subordinatedegreetoeachgradeofdurabilityassessmentforstructureproperties;3. This paper will adopt the AHP to ascertain the primary weight value of eachfactorandthenmodifyitbythemetricaldatawhichismorereasonable;4. This paper will introduce the variational weight value into the assessment anduse it to analysis the fuzzy comprehensive assessment outcome to ascertain thesubordinatedegree;5. This paper will set up the fuzzy comprehensive assessment model for existingRC bridge structure and apply it to practicality, whose outcome is reasonable. Thismethod,withuniversality,canbeusedtomanytypesofbridges;6. This paper will expound the definition and contents of grey dynamic systemtheoryin detail and, byvirtue of its characteristic, bringforward a new method whichusesthegreydynamicsystemtheorytoforecasttheremaininglife;7. Based on the principal of modularization and practicability and applicability,This paper will use the MATLAB to program two software system: durabilityassessment system and remaining life forecast system, in order to intelligentize thetwotasks;8.Thispaperwilldigout thecombinationofdurabilityassessmentandremaininglife forecast. This is: transform the durability assessment outcome to holistic scathingvalue and then use the grey GM (1,1)dynamic system theory to calculate the holisticscathing value list from periodical testing results. Consequently, it will forecast the remaininglifewhenthescathingvaluecomestoacertainfinitevalue.
