With the rapid development of the national economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, and people with the quality of the indoor environment of higher, but the energy crisis has become increasingly acute. In order to the sustainable economic and social development, we must make energy-saving buildings in an important position.The construction industry is a major energy, while building materials production process; we need to consume a large amount of energy. On the other hand, the internal structures in order to create a suitable people in production and daily life and various social activities environment, the use of buildings continuously in the course of energy consumption, that is, we are talking about building energy consumption, including heating, air conditioning, lighting, cooking, household appliances and other aspects of energy consumption, which accounts for about heating air conditioning all building energy consumption by 65%.Nowadays, we refer to the saving energy building mainly includes the existing and new buildings of saving energy. In the north of our country, there are large number of existing buildings, most of them are high energy consuming buildings, Heating energy consumption accounts for 40% in total energy consuming in cities and towns. It will consume many manpower and materials on researching the method of saving energy experiment. But if we use CFD to simulate, we will save a lot of money and materials. This paper mainly talks about the problem of saving heating energy of public buildings according to the character of their intermittent use.This paper chooses the central heating system of teaching area in one university in Tianjin. The mainly classrooms and offices in the teaching area whose heating style are continuous heating at present. With the buildings'character of intermittent using, using the CFD simulation method, choosing one classroom and one office, simulating the room's temperature field after adoping energy saving operation heating mode, discussing the feasibility of maintaining watching temperature in the night in teaching distinct, forecasting the time of stopping heating in the night and stating heating in the day, combined the operation data at present, calculating the energy to be saved with this method,according to this, expiaining the fessibility .According to calculation, the university has a total office area of 500,000 square meters, 2131.6846 tons fuels can be saved within a year, power consumption of water pumps can be saved 112019.05 kWh. It can be seen from the above-mentioned data that the introduction of energy-saving operation and the providing of heating with small stream at night not only decrease fuel consumption, but also significan. .
