| With the development of the international trade, the port's throughput increases in the past years. The trend of the dock will be changed from the quantity of the berth to the quality of the berth work efficiency. Therefore, the port efficiency can be enhanced by the reasonable configuration of the lifting equipments.The paper introduces the quay crane's kind, performance, comprehensive ability and points out the whole factors that impact the quay crane distribution, especially, such as the berth circumstance.Based on the queuing theory, a ship queuing model is set up to explore the distribution of the quay crane according to the port capacity and the schedule of container vessel coming the dock, and to analysis the quay crane cost, uses cost. Similarly, use test to determine whether the time of container ship loading and unloading is negative exponential distribution. In the model, shore cranes and ships constitute a serving system, the total service time of a ship equivalent to waiting time adding to servicing time. Use of cost model to optimize the designed system, so that the interest indicator function can achieve optimized. One of the goals is to make the average total cost of the system in unit time that is the total cost of services and waiting to a minimum, and to determine the level of service. In this paper, it is considered that the loss of the vessel's waiting and other factor to interpose reasonable allocating proportion in order to make the realize maximization and minimal loss based on the profit in corporate port authority and customer.So according to the number of container ships arrived in port and shore cranes efficiency, estimates the number of shore cranes that both meet services and make the interest indicators to optimization.The selection of the quay crane model is also made in the paper according to the berth depth and ship size. |
