The Research On The Regeneration Strategy And Design Of 1980's Urban Old Residential Areas In Hangzhou

Urban Residential Areas of Hangzhou built in 1980's are widely distributed in large number. They are basically well-preserved, and there is still a very long time to be used. However, such settlements in the construction of housing at that time due to the distribution system and socio-economic development situation, and many other factors, there are some defects such as the same style, the unreasonable functional layout and low area standards. Besides, after many years, Comprehensive ageing situation is very serious, and it cannot meet the cross-century living demand. They are to be destroyed or maintained? As people's living standards improved and the pace of urban renewal accelerated, it has become a very pressing issue that we must face to. In response to this contradiction, this paper does research on the existing status and characteristics of 1980's old residential areas in Hangzhou in the forms of visits and surveys. With the latest research results and successful experience of the Regeneration of Urban Residential Areas in foreign countries, the paper does attempt to explore an effective way to regenerate 1980's Urban Residential Areas ,which is Suitable for Hangzhou , and give information to the work of Regeneration of Urban Residential Areas in Hangzhou , which can be used for reference.
