Study On Relay Protection Training System Based On Virtual Instrument Technology

According to the requirement of professional training needs of relay protection,this paper developed a relay training system based on virtual instrument technology.The system is composed of three parts,which are the virtual relay tester,the simulation instrument about relay protection and the distributed real-time database.The relay test system was designed the function of testing and protection instrument with the method of modular programming.In order to improve the compatibility of the system,the relay protection simulation algorithm library and the relay test function modular library were prepared independently,so the entire system has better portability and scalability.This system was been developed with the tool VC++,and the object-oriented technology.And it has friendly visual operation interface to reproduce the whole progress of the testing of protection instrument with the relay tester,so that the training staff can enhance the principle of the software and hardware device,improve the ability and confidence of judging and handling the equipment faults in daily work,and improve the level of operation and maintenance of the relay protection.
