Research On Relay Protection Device Simulation And Training System

It is described in this paper that a simulation system of relay protection device is developed. As a part of substation simulation and training system, it perfects the relay protection simulation of substation simulation and training system.This system has functions as follows: reports print, LCD screen display and keyboard operation. After the analysis of system functions, the system is realized as 1 executable program and 2 dynamic link libraries. This system is independent of other systems, and can be easily used in the substation simulation and training system.The applications of Object-Oriented and DBMS make the system universal and maintenance. When the substation changes, we need only add or modify the devices' properties to the Access DB.The system is developed on Windows with application of Visual C++ and Microsoft Access.
