The Research On WAMS-based Automation Security Control System

The defects of traditional automatic safety device has revealed gradually the large coal-fired power units,ultra high voltage and large scale power grid power system.This paper discusses the feasibility of introducing WAMS into the control information of automatic safety device.By analyzing the out-of-step separation principle of the interconnected power grid and under-frequency load shedding,the schemes for coordinated out-of-step separation control under-frequency load shedding control based on WAMS are put forward.This paper takes the northwest power grid after Xinjiang interconnection in 2010 as examples to verify the coordinated out-of-step separation control plan on WAMS.The research result of this paper has certain reference value for deeply study in application of WAMS in security automatic equipment control system.
