Ash yard project is an indispensable part before generating electricity,and its progress delay has a direct influence on trial operation of thermal power projects.The paper firstly reviews the theory and method of project schedule management.Based on this,a program design about schedule delay factor,including questionnaire design and method design,is provided to the actual project,whose name is Jiangxi Fengcheng ash field project.The questionnaire design is made up of key progress delay factor questionnaire,relationship questionnaire of key progress delay factor and improtance questionnaire of key progress delay factor,and method design contains ABC(Activity Based Classification) method,Interpretative Structural Modeling(ISM) method and principal component analysis method.By implementing questionnaire survey and analyzing the survey results with the above methods,the paper finds the progress key delay factors,interpretative structural modeling,and simplification key delay factors. Based on the analytical resluts,the corresponding measures to the progress delay of ash yard project are proposed to guide the schedule management in the future.
