In recent years,the development prospects of the metro construction industry are very promising.The metro is a complex project,and the construction of the metro communication system is an indispensable part of the entire metro construction project.There are many metro communication system equipments,many participants and many projects immediately before and after,which leads to the process of the metro communication system project construction being full of many uncertainties and huge pressure on the schedule.As the main stakeholder of the project,the owner has to participate in all stages of the project,including preparation,design,construction and acceptance,etc.Therefore,in order to make the project completed on schedule,the owner’s control of the project schedule is particularly important.The thesis takes the City A Metro Line 2 communications project as an example to study the owner’s side of the project schedule control.The thesis explains the overview of the City A Metro Line 2 communications project,analyses the problems of the owner in project schedule control,and thus proposes the feasibility and necessity of studying the owner’s project schedule control.Based on the literature research method,the thesis has sorted out 75 factors influencing the schedule from the relevant literature,revised 39 factors through the expert interview method,designed a questionnaire on this basis,conducted a questionnaire survey on the relevant personnel engaged in the project,used the factor analysis method to analyse the factors influencing the project schedule,and finally obtained 5 key factors: site management factor,stakeholder management factor,planning management factor These are the key schedule influencing factors of the City A Metro Line 2communication project from the perspective of the owner,and thus the focus point of the owner’s project schedule control.Based on the results of the above analysis,the thesis proposes corresponding measures for the five key schedule influencing factors.The thesis suggests that the owner can start from the key schedule influencing factors for project schedule control and take measures to prevent or reduce schedule lag in advance,which to a certain extent provides reference and reference for the owner’s schedule control of subsequent similar projects.
