| Among the five transportation means of the overall transportation system, inland waterway transportation is getting more and more notice for its large transport quantity, low cover of area, low power consumption and low freight rate. By the blue print of development in inland waterway of west region, China will realize a modern inland freight system which framed by water transportation main channel, linked with branches, coupled with land transportation, equipped with full-series facilities, with completed functions and excellent service in the middle of 21st century briefly. This shows that inland waterway freight possess has very wide prospection.Yangtze River system is an important area for our inland river waterway transportation; Three Gorges Hydro Project is the biggest hydro project in the world. With the rapid economic development along the river and rapid development of the shipping industry, the freight traffic of the west through the Yangtze River is rapidly growing each year, and the lack of design capacity of the Three Gorges lock has been gradually emerging. In the condition of the Three Gorges two-way five-step ship lock working normally, the ship always resorted in the Three Gorges dam region from time to time. In order to reduce ship back logging, there has a number of occasions to start freight bypassing the dam and passenger transport transferring in the Three Gorges dam area to release the pressure of the Three Gorges ship lock. This not only brings economic damage to the shipping industry, and also causes social effects. And so researching the regional organization model of transport is very important and urgent.This paper predicts transportation and design capacity of Three Gorges area in the coming year by analyzing the current situations and the existed problems, and based on integrating navigation facilities resources of the three gorges area effectively, this paper introduces the concept of threshold for the Three Gorges ship lock, research the optimized scheduling schemes in grading, organize transportation of the passing ship, and improve the passing ability of the three gorges areas. Considering main goods transportation features of the Three Gorges area, this paper has a comprehensive feasibility evaluation to the goods transportation in the three gorges area by using the entropy method, and suggests to use transportation by land and water to implement the distribution of goods to alleviate the problem of ships waiting to exit, at the same time apply Dijkstra algorithm to optimize transportation organization by land and water. Finally this paper concludes an overall scheme to the waterway transportation organization in the Three Gorges area. |
