Aiming at the status that use ratio and skill of the sootblowers in plant now are poor and based on the actual system configuration and operation parameters,the system for monitoring of ash deposit and slag and sootblowing optimization are successfully developed for the No.4 boiler of Changxing plant as an example,which load is 300MW electricit,mainly on the following aspects:(1)Clean factor(CF) is chosen to express the effect on heat transfer of ash fouling.The ash fouling online monitoring models are built for furnace and convection heating surface based on CF.(2)High temperature heat fiux sensor can measure the slag and ash deposit on walltube of boiler directly and correctly.(3)The system for a multi-goal of sootblowing optimization is developed considering factors of sootblowing income and cost.Under the monitoring and instruction of the optimization system,the frequency of sootblowing can be reduced with the guarantee of the safe and economical operation of coal-fired boiler.
