Vocational education has been reformed for many years in China.Since teaching technologies and internet have been extended and applied in class,many teachers have actively done great reseach and cumulated rich experiences on students' personality,teaching method,teaching organization and so on,in spite of ignoring students' dynamic roles.Vocational education focuses on fostering practical talents especially students' manipulative competence according to various majors.The conception "Handlungsorientieurng" has become one of the principles in vocational education circles. However,the features of vocational education have not been fully reflected.The problems are listed as follow:the conception "Handlungsorientieurng" has not been put into practice; Vocational teaching pays too much attention to theories and ignores practice.Thus the old vocational teaching methods have to be reformed further in order to meet the needs of society. Vocational schools should innovate the methods of teaching organization according to students' interests,and bases on students' qualities.Developed with economic organization,employed ways,profit relationships,society pays much more attention to talents' qualities. Fostering the talents who have strong practical competence and high qualities has become an important subject in vocational teaching circles.This paper bases on the theory "handlungsorientieurng" and analyses the details in railway transportation major teaching it combines this theory with practice in railway transportation teaching.Chapter one points out some problems in teaching targets and significance in railway transportation.Chapter two focuses on the conception,features,objectives,and teaching methods of "handlungsorientieurng"Chapter three emphasizes the teaching design in railway transportation major according to teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching programs,teaching environments,teaching methods,multi-media and so on. Chapter four uses a teaching case to analyze the traditional teaching methods and the "handlungsorientieurng" teaching methods in order to embody the latter method in railway transportation major."handlungsorientieurng" teaching method meets the needs of fostering modern vocational technical talents.Different from traditional teaching model,this theory has many advantages in bilateral teaching,polycentric evaluation,polycentric encouragement and so on. This theory is advocated by more and more educators.This paper may improve some teaching theories and methods on vocational education.
