As a special pavement structure, asphalt deck pavement plays an part in protecting the bridge and assuming loads.Because of its boundary condition is different from common asphalt concrete pavement, stressed condition is different from common asphalt concrete pavement, the stressed condition of asphalt deck pavement is unusual and it's easily broken. Unlike the common asphalt concrete pavement, there is no half space infinite roadbed, and the cement concrete deck is right under the asphalt deck pavement. Many bridge's asphalt deck pavement had premature failures in varying degrees, such as upheaval, traction, track, crack,eg.It's directly influences vehicles' normal operation and causes the normal maintenance time to be ahead greatly of the bridge deck. When designing the bridge structure, bridge deck overlay is only treated as the appendage of bridge, people don't make special calculate and analyze about it,at the same time, the codes just give directed account for method, material and thickness of deck pavements, what's more, there isn't any design theory and index.I analyzed the whole bridge model and test model by ANSYS and find out their stress-strain distribution.and I analyzed text plans, and find out an reasonable shearing test plan in order to simulate the stress-strain distribution of asphalt deck pavement. And find out the dynamic response of test piece. In the part of indoors test, first finding out the maximal shear strength by strength test in different loading rate. And then taking the mobile load shearing test by MTS-810 and gathering data by NI data acquisition system.Taking shear fatigue test in different levels of loads, and find out the shear fatigue behaviour of bonding layer.
