The rural road in Chongqing Province is very poor for its low grade, poor construction technique and so on, and there is no typical road surface and material and construction quality controlling index for the different environment and traffic condition for the rural road. This paper is to research on typical structure of rural road in Chongqing Province based on the construction of current rural road.First, we conclude the structure, materials, status and the traffic constitution of the road surface on the investigation in the road status, structure form and subgrade condition of the rural road in Chongqing Province, which provides base for establishing typical structure. Second, we establish the parameter of rural road traffic design and grade the traffic on further analysis and research on the specialty of traffic volume and its constitution. Thirdly, we confirm the genre of dry or wet and the strength of the subgrade according to the soil geology, climate condition, groundwater, the height of subgrade design and the character of subgrade soil in Chongqing Province, and also to grade on the strength of the subgrade by theoretical analysis. Forth, through theoretical analysis, we build up the typical structure of cement concrete and asphalt road surface of Chongqing rural road after we get all kinds of design parameter of typical structure referring to the experience of local rural road construction .At last, this paper gives the theoretic standard of resilience modulus of control during the construction.And we could take all situation of roadbed quality under control by adopting the calculation method.The result of research of this paper is practical and pertinent. It has realistic signification and reference value for the full use of local road construction resource, the improvement of quality of road surface design and usage and the prolongation of the service life of road surface.
