With the development of economy, urban heating, as an energy-saving and effective heating measure, is becoming more and more popular. This paper is about the design and calculation of ground heating pipeline trestle. The main content and achievements accomplished are as follows:(1) All the loads acting on a trestle were calculated. In addition, according to the practical conditions, load combination was proposed. The relationship between fixed-piping trestle and movable one was obtained by means of comparison. As a result, the importance of loads could be determined, which would be helpful for the simplification and rapid designation in the future.(2) At present, in the design and calculation of pillars as well as beams, steel is seldom selected as the material. In the paper, steel was selected as the pillar material and structural methodology of pillars and beams was presented systematically based on the present codes.(3) In the design and calculation of foundation, foundation of pipeline was designed in detail and the formula for stability of pipeline was put forward.On the whole, the paper improved the design and calculation of heating pipeline trestle, which would be meaningful to the designers in heating projects.
