The train positioning technology based on GPS (Global Positioning System) has been constantly developed in the train control system because of its ease of installation, low cost, ease maintenance, etc. However, it also brings a lot of difficult on-site testing and map verification as in-depth research and wide application. An indoor simulation testing platform is greatly needed to reduce the testing cost and improve the R&D efficiency. Based on the subject supported by National High Technology Reasearch Development Program of China (863 plan)- Key Technologies of the Low-Cost Train Control System, the thesis focuses on the Design and Implementation of the Train Movement Trajectory Simulation System.The train movement trajectory simulation system can provide simulation environment to the low-cost train control system for the test and verification of digital track map and MM (Map-Matching) algorithm in the low-cost train control system. The main purpose of the simulation system is to build a train GPS movement trajectory simulation platform, which can simulate train operation in the station, and simulate the real-time interlocking information and train GPS movement trajectory information.The interlocking data was provided by station edit function of the simulatioin system to support the interlocking simulation function. The GPS line information was provided by the GPS database through the use of the GPS database auto-correlation function, which is used to the simulate GPS movement trajectory. The performance evaluation data was specifically set up in order to calculate the test performance of the simulation system, such as ergodic degree etc. The performance evaluation data, which is piece data, were extracted from interlocking data.Using the simulation system, any route in the sation can be set up and train operation in this route can be simulated after the establishment of the system data. RB(Route Base) mode and TB(Train Based) mode algorithms were provided to achieve the station's automatic ergodic test.The contents of the thesis have been implemented with the example of Beijing Sanjiadian marshalling in C# language of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 platform, tested and verified with the inter-experimental of Low-Cost Train Control System project, the rationality and feasibility have been proved.
