In recent years,our country increases investment in railway.Railway construction in our country enters a high speed development time.However, because of national technology backwardness in high speed train control,the train control system that guarantees train safe high speed movement mainly use the overseas technical equipment.In order to reduce the construction cost of our country high-speed railway, guarantee the railway sustainable development,the domestic manufacture rate of train control system especially that including overseas advanced core technologies should be enhanced.In the localization process of train control system,traditional field test should not be adopted, not only because its inconvenience to railway transportation, but also its waste of humam material and financial resources.The simulation technology used in train control system has matchless superiority because of its similarity,low cost and easily revising.The composing and each part function of Chinese train control system (CTCS), especially the CTCS-2 level train control system as well as ground parameter needed for the CTCS-2 ATP control pattern curve computation are discussed.Point and continuous groud information of the CTCS-2 train control system are analyzed.The track circuit codes according to situation of train occupancy and the route arrange.The code including driving permission,quantity of idle block section and switch speed limit transmits continuous information to on-board equipment.The balise transmits point information including line conditions and temporary speed limit to on-board equipment after activated by it.The ground running environment and control command simulation subsystem is designed and implemented with the VC++ software.The interior database of subsystem is designed with SQL Server2000.Information interaction with on-board subsytem is implemented with TCP/IP communication protocol.This subsystem can provide the ground information which the train movement needs and receive the position and speed information which the on-board subsystem transmits.The simulation software mainly consists of the route control module, the track circuit module, the balise information processing module and the surface display module.The usability and correctness of the ground running environment and control command simulation subsystem can be validated by the theoretical analysis and the on-board subsystem.The ground running environment and control command simulation subsystem plays a very important role in researching the train operating phenomenon on different conditions as a assisted check tool.It can not only be used in on-board system debugging and demonstration,but also be used in training the driver the normal operation and the accident exercises and accumulating running experience,enhancing ability of handling emergent events.
