Air service is the traffic way that increases most quickly since the reform and openness. The demands of Chinese economy fast development for more high-effect civil aviation transports network will cause establishing the new routes in China aviation network. The airlines will face the questions that which cities should be chosen as the nodes of aviation network and how to choose cities pair to establish airline. Base location for airlines is a critical way to obtain its competition advantages. At the same time with the growth of the airline network the robustness is also a problem must be faced with. The complex network theory is the foreland of the system theory and can be used in the research of airline network from a new point of view.The thesis contains six chapters. Aiming at the actuality of the airline network programming in our country the first chapter brings forward the significance, summarizes relative literature and puts forward the frame and the innovation of the thesis. The second chapter introduced three network models and the optimizing methods for the complex network. In the third parts we define the complexity of the complex network firstly and then describe the static statistical characteristic of the airline network and ameliorate the model and arithmetic of the aviation network efficiency. Under the premise we apply the efficiency theory of the complex network to the base location of the airlines in the forth chapter, which makes the evaluation process systematic by improving the intrinsic method. In the fifth chapter the thesis applies the complex theory to the robustness analysis of the airline network. Using two kinds of simulation methods to research the airline network, we can obtain the results and put relevant suggestion forward to improve the robustness of the airline network. The sixth part sums up the results of the thesis and looks forward to the future study.The innovation of the thesis lies in the application of the complex network theory to the aviation network-the base location and the robustness improving. By ameliorate the intrinsic method the study makes the airline network programming systematic.
