| As one of the most modern architecture materials at present, glass is applied widely in various kinds of architectures, whose special light character bring people abundant sight fruition.This paper discusses mainly in three parts:First, starting with the application in architecture, gives brief description on its evolution, and then generalize the basic function applied in architecture. At the same time, not only using method of illustration and analysis in aspects of space penetrating, environment amalgamation, performing technology and figuring light in order to analyze its application deeply, but also through analyze of application satisfying different design content and aim.Second, studies the energy-saving and pro-environment demand on buildings in Hefei integrating with correlative criterion, discusses the relationship between planning and energy-saving and pro- environment(considering glass as surface), the relationship between planning and energy-saving and pro-environment(considering glass as surface), the relationship between plane design and energy-saving and pro-environment(considering window design in plane), the relationship between glass and energy-saving and pro-environment when glass is used as exterior component(considering window design on exterior wall), the relationship between architecture adumbral components and energy-saving and pro-environment(relating with design of glass window and glass curtain wall),and also the relationship between architecture detail and energy-saving and pro-environment(relating with detail design of glass in architecture).Last, comes to a conclusion on using method and strategy about glass in architecture design in Hefei(district cold in winter and hot in summer), one of which is idea innovation, the other is technology innovation,the former is sustainable architecture idea ,which uses construct technology suitable for zoology and environment ,adapts to climate, saves energy and create new architecture, the latter is tapping the physical and chemical character of glass, while integrating super scientific technology tightly and strengthening its function and expressive force in architecture. In the ending of this chapter, through illustrating architecture example, studies advanced technology and idea in concrete application. |
