As a major component of vehicle, the suspension system has an important impact on the vehicle performance,such as ride comfort, handling stability and NVH characteristics. Suspension kinematics and dynamics analysis, as an important aspect of suspension design, is attached more and more attention. With the development of technology, the dynamics analysis software is applied in vehicle's design and manufacture etc.At first,The article introduces the structural characteristics of twist beam suspension. The model would have to consider the impact of elastic deformation of the twist beam. The writer uses two methods to set up the twist beam suspension model, runs its kinematics analysis separately, and compares the results. Based on the structure parameterized modeling bulit in ADAMS FLEX, the writer analysises the impact of the structural parameters on the kinematic performance.The other subsystems, such as front suspension, the steering system, tires subsystems, chassis and so on, are also built in ADAMS software. They are assembled together with the rear twist beam suspension to compose a whole muti-body model. The flexible deformation of the subframe ia also considered.The paper writers an function to calculate root mean square of weighted acceleration in ADAMS, achieves the goals to directly optimize root mean square of weighted acceleration in ADAMS. Based on vehicle dynamics simulation, the paper optimizes the twist beam suspension parameters using DOE(Design of Experiments) method. The optimization improves the vehicle vibration performance.At last, the paper analysises the characteristics of twist beam suspension while transmissing high frequency vibration,researches the impact sensitivity of suspension bushing components on the vehicle vibration using ADAMS DOE. According to the analysis results, the autor specifically analysises the impact of key bushing components on improving vehicle NVH performance.
