With the increasing problems of energy crisis and environment pollution, solar power has been paid more attention by people, as a new green power, which is clean, pollution-free, and inexhaustible. The technology of photovoltaic conversion is developing quickly, which is an effective way to use solar power.The PV-charging control system is an important part of PV system. Photovoltaic cells transform energy power into electrical power, which is stored in storage battery. The control system plays a pivotal role. This paper focuses on the PV-charging control system. We pay our emphases on the implementation including selecting parameters, topology structure, control strategy, MPPT, maintenance of storage battery, and so on. The main content in this paper is:1)This paper introduces the MPPT methods in PV system, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of common methods, and proposes an improved method based on these methods. Compared to pristine methods, this method has better starting characteristic, higher tracking precision and faster response speed. The new method is simulated by MATLAB and the simulation results show the validity of the method.2)Charging and discharging electrochemistry characteristic of the storage battery are introduced. By the analysis of battery's charging p characteristic and charging methods, the proper charging strategy is developed in this paper, which is named multi-pattern PV-charging technology. This method integrates the advantages of Constant Voltage Charging and Constant Current Charging, which is a perfect charging method.3)After analyzing and comparing the structure,performance and characteristic of different PV-charging control systems. The paper introduce the calculation and choice of component parameter on the main circuit is constructed, give the software program in the paper.4)According to the academic research, the paper made a prototype for system and get nice experiment result from large numbers of experimentation .
